Daily Prayer
Thank
you, Jesus, for this day. For my Helmet
of Salvation, my Breastplate of Righteousness, my Belt of Truth, my Loincloth
of Purity, my Leggings of Works thru Faith, my Feet Shod with the Gospel of
Peace, and for my Shield of Faith and my Sword of the Word of God. [Out Loud:]
“’Choose this day whose house you will serve. As for me and my house, we will serve the
Lord’ (Joshua 24:15) for it is right to give Him thanks and praise.” Help me to be You with skin on, earn the
right to be heard, and celebrate life with them. Thank you for the continued sufficient guard
over my mouth so that nothing comes out of it except that which beneficial to
each in relation to their “needs according to the riches of His Glory in Christ
Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). Lead me not
into temptation, but deliver me from all evil for Yours is the Kingdom, the
Power, and the Glory both now and forevermore, Amen (Matthew 6:13). Down with Peter Brandt, up with You my Lord
